General Astrology Update~April

All of the planets are currently in less than half the zodiac, in a chart type known as a Bowl. The leading planet in the bowl is Pluto.

Pluto and Jupiter are both in the last decan (1/3) of Capricorn, and are now just over 1 degree apart. That’s still very close, but the gap is gradually opening.

All of the planets are currently in direct motion, yet Pluto is slowing right down before going into retrograde on the 26th. Jupiter, Saturn and Venus will also be going into retrograde next month.

Saturn is in 1 degree of Aquarius now. Still close enough to Jupiter and Pluto to be in conjunction with them. No where near as strong as it was.

Mars has now moved on to 12 degrees of Aquarius, and is no longer in conjunction with Saturn. Mars is now free to enjoy those Aquarian vibes, and this distancing from Saturn eases the overall picture for all of us.

Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn will continue to be the biggest influencers this year, collectively and individually. They’ve already created massive ripples, with assistance from other planets. Jupiter and Pluto will come together again next month when both are in retrograde, and again later this year.

Jupiter and Saturn have been flirting for a while now. A powerful and unlikely pairing. They will remain in conjunction for the rest of this year, and will finally come exactly together only hours from the exact Winter Solstice.

This event is going to be massive, and in many ways, a culmination of so much that has come before.

Jupiter’s electromagnetic field is so vast, that it will overlap with Saturn’s as they come together, creating one enormous combined field. With this, the Winter Solstice, eclipse season, and all on top of everything that’s already happened in 2020, plus what’s to come, well…………….

Imagination people, this will be visited again and again, and who knows what will transpire between now and then?

Moving on in the Zodiac! The Moon is still in Aquarius, 26 degrees, so entering Pisces in around 8 hours from now. The Sun and Moon are currently sextile (60 degrees) to each other, allowing their energies to flow easily and in friendly ways with each other. This allows us all to feel a sense of ease and flow.

Neptune is in 19 degrees of Pisces, perfectly at home in the sign it rules. There’s lots of dream energy, and the potential for general heightened perception and intuition with this placing, and Neptune will be at a friendly angle to Pluto and Jupiter for months to come, always offering some spiritual guidance, though occasionally muddying the waters!

Chiron and Mercury are still in conjunction in Aries. Mercury is now 4 degrees on from Chiron, so this is weakening all the time and will be negligible in 2-3 days as a combined force. For now though, it still holds a certain amount of injury/healing energy within our perception and senses.

The Sun is very nearly at 28 degrees of Aries now, so just over 48 hours from entering Taurus. Aries season is stronger now than it was just a week ago, as Mercury joined the Sun and Chiron then in the 1st sign of the zodiac.

However, as the Sun approaches Taurus, the Taurus vibe begins to grow more and more in the background. Also, the Sun is approaching Uranus, who’s in 6 degrees of Taurus. They’ll come together in 8 days, and as they get closer and closer, things will liven up, yet in unpredictable ways!

There’s certainly a big shift coming, and we’ll have a new Moon in Taurus very close to Uranus in just under a weeks time.

Finally, we have beautiful Venus, out there on her own in 11 degrees of Gemini. Loved, adored and cherished by most of us. Lighting up the evening sky, like a blissful fireball, exuding passion and grace. I really Love her!

We don’t usually see her so late in the evening. She’s nearly as far from the Sun as she can get, and will soon be moving slower than the Sun through the zodiac as she slows before going retrograde next month.

Lucky Gemini will be blessed with Venus energy for weeks and weeks. Beautiful and playful Spring energy for us all to enjoy at times, I trust!
