Full Moon in Libra

The April 7th Libra Full Moon (18 deg) makes no major aspects to any planets, so Libra themes (balance, projection, co-dependence, harmony) will be fully emphasized. Culminations will likely feature a situation where an imbalance has reached a tipping point and must be addressed. Libra is the conflict avoider, so this imbalance has probably been growing for some time.

So if things feel really unfair, that’s your cue to step up and do what you can to correct it in your life. While you’re at it, remember that Libra is also the sign of projection, so make sure you own your issues while keeping an eye on what others are projecting at you. This means being absoltuely certain about what’s yours- nobody can “make” you sad/angry/hurt although they can certainly try. And you can’t “make” anyone else feel anything. We are all responsible for our feelings. This is not an excuse for abuse or any type of poor treatment, but when Libra energy is at high tide, there’s a tendency to give others all the power.

Hang onto your power.

The Libra Moon is making an inconjunct to Neptune in Pisces. While this is not a major aspect, it will trigger moments of confusion and increase the Libra tendency to waffle and waver. You may question what’s yours and what’s theirs. You may question your sanity when they swear up and down that you have no reason to be hurt. If you feel what you feel, it’s valid.

And there is a world of difference between owning your feelings versus giving someone else the power to make you feel anything. They can trigger something, but the response is yours. As soon as you shift that dynamic from “They made me feel X, Y or Z” to “I’m responding to what they said/did” you put the ball back in your court. And now you have the power to decide what happens next. Do you walk away from them? Attempt to reconcile? Compromise? It’s up to you!

Yes, harmony will be important, but that Neptune inconjunct is very tricky. It’s a reminder that the issue is about more than just you and the other person (or you being loved) but it will be so easy to swing too far in the passive direction and placate everyone. Or, distort yourself in an attempt to reflect someone else’s desire. Harmony does not mean losing yourself. Harmony means an equitable exchange between you and another. If that’s not possible, move on.

Note that Mars (ruler of the Aries Sun) in Aquarius will be making an exact square to Uranus in Taurus on this day. I’ll be writing a separate post on this, but watch for that sudden snap (the break for freedom or the unexpected push) to be part of this culmination.
