Astromomma Valentine’s Day Special- Top Astrological Influences for Love

Hey Astromomma Fam! In honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be fun to do a special article on the astrological influences that attract love into your life or deepen an existing partnership.

Full disclosure, being completely honest ( I am a Sagittarius rising… AKA= blunt), Valentine’s Day, has always struck me as kind of a weird holiday. I am all about love and pleasure, but this “hallmark holiday” glorifies it to a sickening degree. I believe that love is who you are naturally and no matter what is happening with the planets, there is always an opportunity to create a meaningful relationship within yourself and with a potential partner.

That being said, I am still a dreamy romantic at heart as my Venus, the planet of love and romance, positively aspects more planets than any other in my chart. So, I thought it would be fun to explore the favorable times, according to astrology, of when love may enter your life or a time to deepen an existing union.This is just a short list and of course there are plenty of other aspects to consider.

I like to look to the outer planets first (Jupiter- Pluto), as they move slower and tend to stay in a particular house for a longer period of time. The 1st astrological aspect I see as a favorable time to attract love is: Jupiter entering either your 5th or 7th houses. The 12 houses in astrology each represent an area of life and correspond with the 12 signs of the zodiac. Jupiter, in astrology represents: abundance, luck, expansion, joy and prosperity. The 5th house rules: sex, pleasure, dating, fun and expression. The 7th house rules: contracts, commitments, partnerships and balance.

When Jupiter enters either of these houses, I tend to see someone attract a fun and significant partnership in their lives. Speaking from personal experience, both times Jupiter entered my 7th house, I had the most serious relationships of my life. Jupiter, also rules wisdom and teaching and both of these relationships brought huge lessons for me and catapulted me to a deeper understanding of my own intimate nature. Since Jupiter stays in a sign( or house) for about 1 year, it can be a gradual build up of energy. If you happen to have planets in your natal 5th or 7th house, then Jupiter coming to greet these planets, could indicate time stamps of these meetings. I continue to see clients attract or deepen love in their lives when Jupiter enters their 5th or 7th houses.
