This is a crisis between what you want (Venus) versus the dream or fantasy (Neptune). The tension of the crisis triggers yearning for something unreachable, even if it seems realistic at the moment. It may be a pure delusion or a mix of lies and truth. But know that the restless desire for something more is a catalyst to look at why you think you’re missing something. The goal is not to get the prize (the romantic temptation, the distant choice); this is meant to draw your attention to the choices you make. Consider the role that duality plays – a person or situation may have two sides that are both valid (together they make up the whole). You can’t ignore one side in favor of the other. Venus/Neptune can manifest as the addict, victim, deceiver, lost boy/girl, artist or spiritual seeker. The common theme is a lack of peace.

This is the first of three squares, the other two occurring on May 20th (Venus Rx) and July 27th. The crisis has just begun – remain conscious of your choices and values. Know that who you attract is a reflection of your self-worth.
